Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is seeking an experienced Real Estate Attorney with a strong background in land use and zoning to join a growing legal team in Miami. This role is ideal for an attorney who regularly advises developers, property owners, and investors on complex real estate and development matters and is comfortable working closely with local municipalities and regulatory agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on land use, zoning, and entitlement matters
• Handle zoning approvals, variances, special exceptions, and site plan approvals
• Represent clients before planning boards, zoning boards, and municipal commissions
• Draft and negotiate development-related agreements and real estate documents
• Conduct due diligence related to zoning, land use regulations, and permitting
• Collaborate with developers, engineers, architects, and government officials
• Monitor changes in zoning laws, land use regulations, and local ordinances

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active member of the Florida Bar in good standing
• Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing real estate law with a focus on land use and zoning
• Strong knowledge of Florida land use laws and local Miami-Dade zoning regulations
• Experience representing developers and real estate investors preferred
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
• Ability to manage matters independently and work in a fast-paced environment
