Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech Language Pathologist is needed to support elementary students in Apopka, FL, at a local elementary school from now through the end of May 2026. This contract role offers the opportunity to work with PreK through 5th-grade students, covering approximately 40-50 students as part of a shared caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in PreK to 5th grade
- Collaborate with the existing SLP who manages a shared caseload
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports
- Communicate effectively with educators, parents, and administrators
Qualifications:
- Professional license as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Valid Florida Department of Health license required
- Experience working in school-based settings is preferred
- Ability to manage a caseload of 40-50 students
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Location:
- Apopka, FL, elementary school setting
- On-site work required
- Part-time position, approximately 15 hours per week (2 days)
