Job Summary
Westside Cleaners is an award-winning dry cleaner in Jupiter, FL since 1988. We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Presser to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that garments and linens are impeccably pressed and presented. This position requires a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in dry cleaning or hospitality settings is preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual.
Responsibilities
- Operate pressing machines and equipment to ensure garments are wrinkle-free and properly finished.
- Launder items as needed, following specific care instructions for various fabrics.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished products for defects and take corrective action as needed.
- Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with other team members, including the spotter/dry clean machine operator, to maintain a smooth workflow.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dry cleaning, laundry services, or hospitality is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
