HVAC Commercial Estimator.

Well respected HVAC contractor in Punta Gorda and the beautiful Southwest area of Florida's Gold Coast is seeking an experienced and career driven HVAC Estimator / Project Manager to run the project division of their Commercial department. This hybrid role involves the estimating and management for retrofit projects as well as new installations including equipment, systems requirements, upgrades and energy efficiency improvements.

The ideal candidate will have a proven background in commercial HVAC systems, estimating, project coordination and client communications.

Our client enjoys an excellent reputation as the "Employer of Choice" and is a primary vendor to a broad range of client facilities including Healthcare, Communications, Retail, Education / Academic as well as Government.

Required Qualifications

7-10 years of experience in estimating and / or managing commercial HVAC retrofit or design-build projects.

Strong technical knowledge of rooftop units, split systems, chillers, boilers, VAV systems and control upgrades.

Ability to read and interpret mechanical plans, specifications and submittals.

Excellent organizational, communication and time management skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, estimating tools and project tracking software.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred

Familiarity with energy rebate programs, utility incentives and permitting processes.

OSHA 10 or 30 Certification

Technical degree or HVAC trade school background.

Government installation experience is a plus but not required.
