Position Overview
The Smartphone Diagnostic Associate is responsible for testing, diagnosing, and securely erasing smartphones and tablets using specialized software. This role requires strong attention to detail, technical aptitude, and clear documentation skills. Ideal candidates are organized, hands-on, and passionate about working with technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Test, diagnose, and securely erase data from smartphones and tablets
- Accurately document diagnostic results and shipment details (legible handwriting required)
- Receive and process incoming merchandise
- Operate and quickly learn proprietary diagnostic and testing software
- Perform general warehouse duties as needed
- Maintain organization and accuracy in all assigned tasks
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly learn and operate smartphone diagnostic/testing software
- Advanced knowledge of smartphone operating systems (iOS and Android)
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Clear, legible handwriting
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Basic computer knowledge (Windows 10 & 11)
- Comfortable handling and working with electronic gadgets
- Ability to pass a national criminal background check and drug test
Preferred Qualifications
- Smartphone repair experience (highly desired)
- Prior experience in electronics testing, diagnostics, or recycling
