Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist to provide services for PreK through 2nd-grade students within a K-12 school setting located in Tavares, FL. This contract position is scheduled from January 6, 2025, through May 29, 2026, supporting early intervention and literacy development in a dynamic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for young learners aged PreK to 2nd grade.
- Develop individualized treatment plans that align with students unique communication needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support each childs progress.
- Maintain detailed documentation and comply with school and district policies.
- Provide direct therapy sessions and monitor student improvements regularly.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist licensure.
- Experience working with early childhood and elementary school-age children is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and staff.
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs.
- Proven ability to work effectively within an educational team.
Location: Tavares, FL onsite position within the school district facilities.
