JOB SUMMARY:
The Crumb Plant Operator 3 plays an advanced role in Granulation and Powderizer operations. This position involves overseeing daily production, troubleshooting complex equipment issues, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. The operator ensures the smooth and efficient running of production while mentoring other team members and optimizing operations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the operation of Granulation and Powderizer equipment to ensure efficient production.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex equipment malfunctions.
- Monitor and optimize production processes to meet or exceed output targets.
- Supervise and mentor entry-level and intermediate operators.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production and efficiency.
- Ensure that safety protocols are followed at all times and lead safety audits.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth production and material flow.
- Manage preventative maintenance schedules and ensure equipment reliability.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment according to company standards.
- Assist in training staff and providing support during maintenance and repairs.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities for complex equipment issues.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills to guide less experienced operators.
- Ability to optimize production processes and ensure high-quality standards.
- Proficiency in preventive maintenance and machine diagnostics.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and leadership.
EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, with a focus on Granulation and Powderizer operations.
- Advanced knowledge of machine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Experience leading a team and optimizing production processes.
