The Front Desk Receptionist will be the first point of contact for our clients. This role is crucial in
ensuring that our clients feel welcomed and supported from the moment they walk in. The ideal candidate will have
excellent customer service skills, the ability to multitask, and a genuine interest in mental health care.
Responsibilities:
• Greet clients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
• Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
• Schedule and confirm appointments using our electronic health records (EHR) system.
• Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Handle client check-ins and check-outs, including collecting co-pays and updating insurance information.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing client records.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Address and resolve client inquiries and issues promptly.
• Ensure the front desk area is tidy and presentable.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office administration or related field is a plus.
• Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems is preferred.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• A compassionate and patient-oriented attitude.
