Exp. Shop Foreman/Woodworker for wood furniture manufacturer and custom cabinet shop
General Responsibilities
- Oversee shop employees and production schedule
- Responsible for hiring new employees
- Product Quality Control and Shop Safety Procedures
- Inspects cut parts and built product conforming to drawings/shop prints
- Creates and revises work processes
- Overseeing employees to maintain and clean machine/equipment
- Performs other duties as assigned or directed
Qualifications and Skills
- Team leader and experience in team building
- Organization and Inventory Control
- Experience working in CAD would be helpful
- Ability to work in a team and provide positive criticism
- Ability to handle multiple jobs efficiently and effectively
- Proficient with Windows and Office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel
Experience
High School Diploma/Technical School or related experience
Minimal two years Supervisor or Managerial Experience
Hourly Pay is based on knowledge, skills and experience. Starting pay during training is $25-$27 an hour.
