Job Description
We are seeking a Construction Supervisor and Project Manager to join our team! You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation. We are general contractors who perform 98% of our work in the DOD commercial sector. US citizenship is a must, due to the highly classified project types. Large portions of our projects are self-performed. Pay DOE.
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Oversee all aspects of a construction project from planning to implementation</li>
<li>Allocate resources for assigned projects</li>
<li>Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors</li>
<li>Maintain safety standards on the site</li>
<li>Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients</li>
<li>Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs</li>
<li>Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Previous experience in construction management or other related fields</li>
<li>Familiarity with construction management software</li>
<li>Strong leadership qualities</li>
<li>Strong negotiation skills</li>
<li>Deadline and detail-oriented</li>
<li>Ability to accurately read blueprints and perform quantity take-offs.</li>
