Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Law Graduate Student to assist with a civil business litigation matter in Broward County. The ideal candidate will work closely with counsel to support all phases of litigation and trial preparation. This role requires attention to detail, strong legal research and writing skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Scope of Work & Responsibilities:

Draft and assist with filing motions, responses, and supporting legal documents with the court.
Support trial preparation by organizing exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.
Review, summarize, and organize discovery materials for efficient case management.
Conduct legal research on issues relevant to ongoing litigation.
Prepare timelines, case chronologies, and summaries to aid counsel in trial strategy.
Coordinate with court clerks and ensure compliance with filing and procedural requirements.
Provide general litigation and administrative support as directed by counsel.

Qualifications:

J.D. degree or recent law school graduate; admission to the Florida Bar is a plus but not required.
Demonstrated interest and coursework/experience in civil litigation and business law.
Strong legal research and writing abilities.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Familiarity with e-filing systems and Florida Rules of Civil Procedure preferred.
High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
