Job DescriptionNetwork Operations Control Technician I – Boca Raton, FL (Onsite)
Contract | $21–$25/hour | Potential to Convert to Permanent | Multiple Shifts Available
I’m currently partnered with an established client in Boca Raton that’s looking to add a Network Operations Control Technician I to their team. This is a great opportunity to join a stable organization with strong potential for long-term growth.
As part of the Network Operations Center (NOC), you’ll play a key role in monitoring network systems, troubleshooting internet connections, and supporting overall operational stability for critical communications infrastructure.
What You’ll Do:
Monitor network switches, firewalls, and circuits that provide internet access to tenants.
Support the NOC phone line and provide timely customer status updates.
Exercise professionalism and tact when communicating with tenants, FAA, FCC, internal teams, and the general public.
Track and respond to alarms, including tower lighting systems, HVAC, power, and access controls.
File, extend, and cancel NOTAMs (Notice to Airmen) in compliance with FAA standards.
Maintain clear and detailed documentation in trouble-ticketing systems and email communications.
Assist with miscellaneous clerical duties to maintain reports and files.
Collaborate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and customers in a team-driven environment.
Be available for overtime, weekends, and occasional remote relocation for emergency operations.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in network operations, troubleshooting, or technical support (internet connectivity experience a plus).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and documentation habits.
Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to work one of three available shifts in a 24/7 NOC environment.
