This is full-time Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm, with additional hours/times as needed in Aventura, FL. No hybrid or remote.
About the Role
The Network Administrator – Cisco Meraki IoT will own the architecture, implementation, and lifecycle management of CTTI’s Cisco Meraki SD-WAN, campus switching, Wi-Fi, and IoT sensor platform (cameras, smart locks). This role ensures 99.95% network uptime across HQ, Scottsdale, and remote event sites.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and optimize Meraki MX, MS, and MR stacks (1,200+ clients).
- Manage site-to-site AutoVPN, Layer 7 firewall, and traffic-shaping policies.
- Integrate Brivo, Zoom Rooms, and IoT devices via Meraki APIs/webhooks.
- Perform capacity planning; create 12-month infrastructure roadmap.
- Lead incident response; maintain Automate monitoring and configuration backups using Python and Meraki Dashboard API.
- Document network diagrams (Visio/Lucidchart) and SOPs for Helpdesk.
- Mentor junior technicians; deliver quarterly training on networking best practices.
Qualifications
- 5+ years network administration; 2+ yrs hands-on Cisco Meraki.
- Meraki CMNA or CCNP ENT strongly preferred.
- Expertise in 802.1X, VLAN design, DHCP/DNS, QoS, and Wi-Fi RF fundamentals.
- Scripting (Python/PowerShell) for automation and API integrations.
- Experience supporting high-density event networks is a plus.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies.
- Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud networking solutions.
- Familiarity with security best practices in network design.
