Title: HVAC/DDC Technician
Location: Pensacola, FL (no travel)
Pay: $30-40/hour depending on experience (will consider more senior candidates)
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Controls Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting HVAC control systems. The position requires a strong understanding of HVAC principles and the ability to work with various building automation systems (BAS) and direct digital controls (DDC).
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain HVAC control systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair control system issues to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on control systems.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to design efficient control strategies.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users on control systems.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in HVAC systems and control technologies.
- Knowledge of building automation systems (BAS) and direct digital controls (DDC) preferred.
- Strong electrical knowledge related to control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
