Role Overview
As a Contracts Manager, you will be a key player in the execution of complex EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects. You'll manage high-value contracts from negotiation through closeout, ensuring compliance, mitigating risk, and supporting project delivery across the energy spectrum.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead contract strategy, negotiation, and administration for multi-million-dollar EPC projects.
- Collaborate with legal, commercial, and project teams to ensure alignment with corporate and client objectives.
- Identify and manage contractual risks, claims, and change orders.
- Support procurement and subcontracting activities with contract oversight.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and client requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide guidance on contractual rights, obligations, and interpretations.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Law, or related field; JD or MBA is a plus.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in contract management within EPC environments.
- Proven track record in energy, nuclear, utilities, oil & gas, or power generation sectors.
- Experience managing contracts for large-scale infrastructure or industrial projects.
- Strong understanding of commercial terms, risk management, and project controls.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
