Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year (August 11, 2025 June 2, 2026) supporting a K-12 public school district in Port Saint Lucie, FL. This contract position involves working 37.5 hours per week and includes a variety of campus assignments, most often at a single school location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to students ranging from PreK through 12th grade, including those with significant developmental delays and Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing needs
  • Collaborate with educational teams and support staff in schools with specialized programs, such as ASD units and ESE PreK classrooms
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress in compliance with school district guidelines
  • Deliver services in diverse settings including PreK resource rooms and cluster programs
  • Supervise Clinical Fellows (CF) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) as needed to ensure high standards of care

Preferred Assignments Include:

  • CA Moore/FK Sweet (K-8 and PreK resource room)
  • Palm Pointe K-8 School with an ASD unit
  • Parkway PreK Complex serving mostly nonverbal students with developmental delays
  • Oak Hammock PK-8 DHH cluster site
  • Additional assignments span elementary schools serving students with ASD for collaboration opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Active Florida SLP license
  • Experience with pediatric and school-based populations preferred
  • Willingness to provide supervision to CFs and SLPAs when applicable
