Two Speech-Language Pathologists Needed Contract Position
Location: Ft. Lauderdale, FL
Setting: Middle School (Grades K-12)
Duration: Contract for Current School Year (CSY)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week
We are seeking two qualified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide services within a middle school setting in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. This role requires working with students across the K-12 age range to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders. The ideal candidates will hold a valid Florida SLP license and possess a strong commitment to supporting the communication development of diverse learners.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state guidelines and school policies
- Provide direct therapy services and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
Qualifications:
- Valid Florida license as a Speech-Language Pathologist required
- Experience working with the K-12 population preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
