Apartment Assistant Manager – Panama City, FL

We’re looking for an experienced Assistant Property Manager to join a dynamic apartment community in Panama City, FL. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in Tax Credit (LIHTC) and HUD programs, along with exceptional leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the daily operations of the property, ensuring compliance with HUD, LIHTC, and Fair Housing regulations.

  • Manage leasing, renewals, resident relations, and collections.

  • Support the Property Manager with reporting, audits, and inspections.

  • Provide outstanding customer service to residents and prospects.

Requirements:

  • Previous Assistant Manager experience in the multifamily housing industry.

  • LIHTC and HUD knowledge required (compliance expertise strongly preferred).

  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy.
