Job Title: Senior Contract Coordinator

Overview:

Under limited supervision, this role is responsible for managing tasks related to contract negotiations, contract documents, and other legal/regulatory proceedings for the wholesale power and natural gas business and related commercial transactions. The position also oversees solar repower construction activities, coordinates QA/QC processes, and ensures compliance with industry standards, project specifications, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review contractual agreements and proposed amendments for compliance with company policies.
  • Generate and process outgoing contracts, amendments, and confirmations for trading partners.
  • Maintain accurate records, track incoming and outgoing documents, and manage contract/counterparty databases.
  • Assist in Proforma development, validate assumptions, and complete reporting as required.
  • Oversee execution of solar repower construction activities and ensure adherence to project timelines.
  • Coordinate and supervise QA/QC activities on-site and communicate project conditions to stakeholders.
  • Review work scopes, technical drawings, and schedules to confirm alignment with project requirements.
  • Supervise contractors performing mechanical, electrical, and structural work on power plant equipment, including solar modules, trackers, racking, and wire management.
  • Maintain detailed records of work completed, project delays, and modifications during execution.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or trade certification preferred. Paralegal designation or relevant college degree required for contractual responsibilities.
  • Experience:
  • 6–15 years of experience in solar construction and commissioning projects.
  • At least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role in a renewable plant environment.
  • Strong background in contractual obligations, asset management, or financial trading institutions preferred.
  • Certifications: PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong knowledge of contractual processes, QA/QC standards, and renewable energy construction practices.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to work long shifts (10–12 hours per day), including nights and weekends, as required by project schedules.
