Were currently seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer Baggage Handling Systems located inTampa, FL.
Required Education:
- Bachelors Degree
Required Qualifications:
In order to become a candidate, you must possess the following skills and abilities.
- Minimum two (2) years experience in assisting a project manager (preferably in BHS) and or a similar conveyance system.
- Exceptional client rapport and communication skills
- Skilled in handling multiple responsibilities with efficiency and focus
- Experience managing project logistics, timelines, and budgets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read, interpret, and develop efficient logistics designs and concepts
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in mechanical, industrial, or controls engineering.
- Civil and electrical engineers as well as candidates with other construction management backgrounds may be considered if they possess relevant knowledge or experience.
- Previous experience in conceptual and spatial coordination works with large-scale hub airports is a valuable asset and or conveyance with Data Centers.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
Responsibilities:
- Assistant to the Baggage Project Manager, to improve effectiveness and efficiency by implementing a myriad of technical tasks.
- Manage pertinent Contract documents as well as Project software and controls systems
- Assists in the processing and monitoring of progress payments, submittals, document management / controls and distribution, and general management of project related office support services.
- Track necessary Airport Operations, security protocols and Airport notification processes (i.e. SIRs, MCNs, NOTAMs, etc.) and work with project team so that work can continue in a timely manner.
- Assists PM as needed in these areas with particular attention to upcoming work efforts that require notifications.
- Participate in necessary meetings with Contractor and airport staff as needed.
Preferred Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent communication to airport staff and project team, both oral and written.
- Familiar with the latest software package technology in our design efforts, including recent releases of Revit, AutoCAD, Sim 3D, AutoMod, Kahua, Procore and the Microsoft Office suite of programs, so experience in any of these would be beneficial.
Salary:
- $115,000.00 annually
Bonus Pay:
A bonus may be granted to employees depending on individual performance, employee utilization, attendance, tenure, and furtherance of other non-financial corporate goals; bonus opportunities are available at managements discretion.
