Join a dynamic government agency as a Systems Administrator supporting a diverse user base in a hybrid work environment. This role offers a flexible Monday-Friday schedule, 8am-4:30pm with a half-hour lunch, and the opportunity to work Hybrid with occasional local travel within Pinellas County to satellite offices. You’ll be a key player in day-to-day IT support, managing Active Directory, virtualization, networking, and assisting staff with software like Yardi.
LOCATION: Hybrid ( two days/week after the initial six-month probationary period) with local travel to offices and sites in Pinellas County (candidates should live within reasonable commuting distance)

Requirements:
- 2+ years of IT support or systems administration experience, including Microsoft O365
- Experience with Active Directory management and single sign-on configuration
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware ESXi
- Basic networking knowledge, including VLAN setup and firewall configuration
- Ability to communicate effectively with end users of varying technical skill levels
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally to satellite offices within Pinellas County
- Experience or interest in cloud environments and migration projects is a plus
Job Description:
- Provide remote and on-site IT support for approximately 85-90 users across multiple satellite offices within Pinellas County, including troubleshooting Microsoft O365, Active Directory, and network issues.
- Manage and maintain virtualization environments (VMware ESXi), Windows Server 2016 systems, and assist with the transition to cloud infrastructure (IaaS solutions).
- Perform hardware and software setups, including configuring firewalls, switches, VLANs, and company devices.
- Travel locally to various housing authority sites as needed, using agency vehicles when required, to resolve technical issues and support office relocations or emergency situations.
- Communicate effectively with staff of varying technical skill levels, providing training and support tailored to their needs.
- Participate in team projects and contribute to larger IT initiatives while handling day-to-day system administration tasks.
