Job Description

Job DescriptionAbout Us
MotionPoint is a translation platform that provides end-to-end website translation and localization services for businesses. It uses a proprietary "Adaptive Translation™" technology, which blends AI and human expertise to translate and optimize digital content at scale.

Summary
We’re seeking a Manager, Project Management to lead a team of Project Managers delivering complex, technology-driven solutions for our global enterprise clients. This mid-level manager role blends strategic oversight with deep technical understanding — ensuring our solutions are effectively implemented across diverse website architectures, content platforms, and integration environments.

You’ll serve as both a leader and hands-on technical project manager, guiding PMs in project execution while directly engaging with top clients and engineering teams to ensure our technology is leveraged optimally. This role requires a keen understanding of website infrastructure (e.g., URLs, SSO, global site maps, CMS structures), cross-domain functionality, and the technical implications of deploying our solutions across multilingual, multi-market web ecosystems.

You’ll understand our customers’ goals and make sure their implementation goes smoothly and drives the business results they are looking for. You understand “managing facts decides the resolution; managing feelings decides the relationship” and aim to create a great customer experience.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Lead and develop a team of Project Managers, providing mentorship, guidance, and accountability for delivering complex client solutions on time, on budget, and within scope.
  • Act as an escalation point for technical and strategic challenges within project delivery, ensuring swift resolution, and client satisfaction.
  • Engage directly with clients to understand their website ecosystems — including platform architecture, SSO configurations, URL structures, and CMS integrations — to assess technical feasibility and implementation pathways.
  • Partner with Platform Engineering and Product teams to align project delivery with system capabilities and roadmap priorities.
  • Oversee solution design discussions, ensuring PMs translate business goals into actionable, technically sound project plans.
  • Ensure technical accuracy in all client-facing deliverables, particularly for website translation, localization, and integration projects.
  • Drive consistency in PM practices, processes, and documentation to improve efficiency and scalability across the organization.
  • Anticipate and mitigate delivery risks, removing blockers and guiding PMs through problem-solving in real time.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging data and feedback to refine delivery frameworks, client communications, and internal workflows.
  • Represent the PM organization in cross-functional forums, ensuring alignment between delivery, engineering, operations, and customer experience / success.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in project or program management, including 2+ years managing PMs or leading large, cross-functional delivery teams.
  • Strong technical expertise (HTML, CSS, JS/JSON, Charles).
  • Strong understanding of website technologies, including CMS systems, APIs, SSO, URL structures, site architecture, and integrations.
  • Proven ability to interface with engineering teams and translate technical requirements for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experienced in client-facing delivery for enterprise or tech-enabled service environments.
  • Deep knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) and ability to coach others in their application.
  • Confident communicator capable of engaging both executive clients and technical experts. Communicates with clarity and optimism, helping the team stay aligned and make progress despite obstacles.
  • Skilled at balancing strategic oversight with tactical problem-solving.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect technical execution to client outcomes.
  • Highly organized, analytical, and adaptable to evolving priorities.
