At Howard Law, the Foreclosure Manager oversees the firm’s foreclosure portfolio, ensuring each case is managed with precision, compliance, and professionalism. This role directs the full foreclosure process on behalf of clients, supervises a team of paralegals, coordinates with attorneys and courts, and ensures strict adherence to federal, state, and local foreclosure laws. The Foreclosure Manager also leverages industry platforms such as CaseAware, LPS, and Tempo to track case progress, maintain accuracy, and drive efficiency, aligning with Howard Law’s commitment to ethical representation and client advocacy.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Howard Law’s foreclosure caseload from referral through resolution, ensuring timely and compliant case progression.
- Lead and mentor a team of paralegals, fostering professional development and ensuring high-quality case handling.
- Utilize CaseAware, LPS, and Tempo to manage workflows, monitor timelines, and generate accurate reporting.
- Collaborate closely with Howard Law attorneys to prepare, review, and file foreclosure pleadings and court documents.
- Maintain compliance with investor, client, and regulatory guidelines, mitigating risks to clients and the firm.
- Provide regular case status updates to clients, attorneys, and firm leadership.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with courts, opposing counsel, and third-party vendors.
- Generate reports and analysis to monitor case timelines, outcomes, and portfolio trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, legal studies, or related field preferred (or equivalent professional experience).
- 5+ years of foreclosure or legal default servicing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Deep knowledge of foreclosure statutes, judicial processes, and lender/investor requirements.
- Hands-on experience with CaseAware, LPS, and Tempo strongly preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with a client-focused mindset.
