We are seeking a dedicated and leadership oriented Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to oversee our pharmacy operations. This is a pivotal role where you will balance clinical excellence with operational management. You won’t just be verifying scripts; you will be leading a team, optimizing workflows, and ensuring our patients receive the highest standard of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and monitor pharmacy technicians and support staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Clinical Consultation: Provide expert medication counseling to patients and caregivers, ensuring clear understanding of dosage and safety.
• Operational Oversight: Develop and implement pharmacy policies, ensuring full compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Workflow Management: Oversee the preparation and dispensing of medications while maintaining a high level of precision.
• Administrative Collaboration: Partner with the administration team to streamline new procedures and improve patient care outcomes.
• Complex Problem Solving: Navigate insurance claims, process prior authorizations with provider offices, and resolve billing hurdles.
• Record Keeping: Maintaining proper record keeping and inventory controls (including controlled substances)

Qualifications & Skills

• License: Active and in good standing Pharmacist license in the state of Florida.
• Experience: Proven experience in a retail or independent pharmacy management role.
• Technical Proficiency: BestRx software experience is highly preferred.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead a team and communicate effectively with doctors and insurance providers.
• Organization: Exceptional time management skills with the ability to manage a 10 hour or 8 hour shift effectively.

Schedule & Benefits

• Shift Structure: Full-time; 8-hour and 10-hour shifts available.
• Availability: Monday – Friday, with rotating weekend coverage as needed.
• Environment: 100% In person clinical setting.
