Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A specialized opportunity exists for experienced Cath Lab Technologists skilled in imaging and cardiac catheterization procedures at a leading hospital located in Pompano Beach, FL. This contract position offers the chance to work within a dynamic Cath Lab team dedicated to delivering exemplary patient care in a fast-paced, technologically advanced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of cardiac catheterization procedures including cardiac caths, cerebellar angiograms, stent placements, balloon angioplasty, and ENT lab tasks.
- Assist with scrubbing and preparation for special procedures.
- Operate GE Innova imaging equipment proficiently.
- Collaborate closely with RNs and tech staff to maintain optimal patient ratios (1:1).
- Maintain thorough documentation using Meditech and MacLab EMR systems.
- Participate actively in on-call rotations, demonstrating flexibility to meet unit demands.
- Adhere to departmental dress code standards with unit-specific scrubs.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and ARRT.
- Competency in special cath lab procedures and experience with GE Innova imaging systems.
- Preferred: RCIS certification.
- Strong critical thinking skills and a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to thrive as a team player in a cohesive staff environment.
- Openness to frequent on-call duties and flexible scheduling.
