Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field, active Deaf & Hard of Hearing (DHH) certification, and 1+ years Deaf & Hard of Hearing Specialist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

ProCare Therapy is partnering with a respected Florida school district to recruit a qualified Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher for a full-time role. The successful candidate will begin as soon as possible following a job offer and completion of onboarding.

We seek a passionate educator dedicated to making a meaningful impact on students lives and advancing inclusive education practices.

Position Details

  • Location: Port Charlotte, FL

  • Start Date: 20252026 School Year

  • Employment Type: Full-Time

  • Caseload: Mixed K12 students

  • Compensation: Competitive, based on experience

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Education or related field

  • Valid teaching certification

  • Experience working with deaf and hard of hearing students

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
