This position is a hybrid position with remote telehealth servicing clients throughout Florida and face to face appointment in Tamarac. As a provider we want you to join the team as we prioritize our focus on what’s most important – treating and caring for our clients. This is a contracted position for the candidate interested in growing in the mental health community.
You’ll also enjoy support from your colleagues during small-group consultation meetings and team building events. These groups are an intimate way to collaborate with other therapist and build community and camaraderie. We are committed to cultivating a positive mental health environment within our organization. We are currently seeking licensed therapist and counselors to join our team to provide therapeutic services. This is a contracted position working with Individual, Couples and/or family therapy through using a telehealth program. This position is currently in person and based in Tamarac, Florida. We currently have three available time positions Monday – Friday 9 am - 6pm Est. and Saturday & Sunda's off and Tuesday – Friday 9am -6pm EST Saturday’s 9am – 3 pm Est. The third time slot is Monday - Friday 10am - 7pm and Sat & Sunday's off.
Compensation is per session based. Therapist are paid on a biweekly bases on the paid clients seen. You must have a license in good standing to be considered for the position. This is an in-person position, and you are required to work from the office. Your case load will be mixed with in person and Telehealth client throughout your day.
Documentation is required to be done in a timely manner and proper scheduling of follow up appointments to maintain proper scheduling and time management. Staff will have bi-weekly meetings in the office to review client cases, training and office updates. We encourage our staff to join us for staff mental health days and reset periodically as a team. Qualifications
- Master’s (Required)
- License to practice (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, LPC) (Required)
- Certification as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHCs)
- Will consider Registered Interns close to licensure for in person positions only in the state of Florida.
- Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited university or professional school of Counseling, Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy
- Appropriate FL-state (or multi-State) licensure required: must have active License.
- Eligibility to work in the United States. We are not able to provide or assist with visas or attaining work eligibility.
- Fluency in English, Spanish preferred; proficiency in other languages a plus
- DBT, CBT, EMDR experience; Certifications a plus
- Ability to use technology, including telehealth software or comfortable with video communication.
- Previous experience in mental health counseling or other related fields.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to build rapport with clients.

- Familiarity with community mental health resources.
Responsibilities
- Establish open lines of communication for individuals with mental or emotional issues.
- Offer community resources to individuals who need additional resources and support.
- Implement and review treatment plans.
- Collaborate with additional treatment providers and practitioners.
- Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner.
- Telehealth therapy with option for Individual, couples and family therapy
- Maintaining a healthy working relationship with other staff to achieve goals.
- Monday – Friday 9am - 6pm Est. and Saturday& Sunday off or Tuesday – Friday 9am -6pm EST Saturday’s 9am – 3pm Est.
- Create Comprehensive therapeutic assessments and treatment planning with proper documentation.
- Attend virtual and/or in-person office meetings.
- Understanding and applying compliance with HIPAA laws
- Maintaining a professional appearance
- Having proper work ethic; being on time, working in a room with no interruption, maintaining stable internet connection, and maintaining a clean environment for clients to see in session.
