Job Description

Effective supervision of those directly involved in serving the guests on the golf courses, including Estates Golf Concessions. Oversee all food and beverage requisitions, pars, inventory and organization procedures. In charge of function on the golf course. Reports to the VP Director of Food & Beverage.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

· Interview, hire, review performance and coach food & beverage personnel.

· Supervise budget and forecast preparation, scheduling, payroll control and data gathering.

· Supervise daily food and beverage operations on the courses.

· Train all attendants.

· Ensure proper scheduling while maintaining labor budget.

· Prepare food and beverage forecasts monthly.

· Ensure proper guest check handling.

· Have monthly training meetings.

· Assist Director of Food & Beverage in regard to concessions.

· Ability to communicate effectively with the Food & Beverage managers and fellow employees.

· Basic food and beverage knowledge, inventory and control procedures.

· Good communication skills.

· Must be able to count change, make cash transactions, add, subtract, divide and multiply.

· Full-Time Management position that requires a flexible schedule and the ability to work day/night shifts, weekends, and holidays. A varied schedule.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this position, an employee is frequently required to walk; stand and sit for long periods; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, bend, crouch or crawl; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear both in person from close and long distances and by phone or radio. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 30-50 pounds.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Excellent service skills including etiquette and ability to work with the public. Knowledge of communications skills, organization skills, ability to deal with diverse clientele, golf knowledge.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
