BlueWave is hiring an HVAC Controls Electrician for a clean energy solutions client based in Bradenton, FL. As HVAC Controls Electrician you will be responsible for installing and wiring Direct Digital Control systems while maintaining safety and quality standards. You will support projects across commercial buildings.
Responsibilities:
• Install and wire DDC systems, including conduit, control panels, and field devices for HVAC and building automation projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation to ensure accurate installations.
• Maintain strong communication with project stakeholders to ensure schedules, quality, and expectations are met.
• Follow established safety practices, adhering to OSHA and NEC guidelines on commercial job sites.
• Document project work accurately while supporting process and workflow improvements.
Requirements:
• 2+ years of commercial electrical experience (HVAC, BAS, or controls strongly preferred).
• Ability to bend EMT conduit, make electrical terminations, and work with VFDs, panel boards, and control devices.
• Familiarity with NEC requirements and standard commercial wiring methods.
• Experience operating lifts and using PPE safely; OSHA 10 or journeyman license a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
Employment Type: Full-Time in Bradenton, FL or those willing to relocate.
