This is a unique opportunity that requires relocation to the Fort Myers, Florida area. Qualified applicants will receive a signing bonus after a probationary period.
What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities:
As a key member of our laboratory team, you will play a crucial role in the execution of our research projects and daily operations. Your expertise will be essential in:
- Handling and Analyzing Samples: You will work extensively with blood and bone marrow samples, performing advanced lab techniques such as Optical aggregometry, ELISA, Flow cytometry, Cell culture, and Microscopy.
- Conducting and Managing Research: Efficiently perform investigational studies following established SOPs while ensuring the accuracy of all test results before reporting.
- Maintaining Lab Excellence: Contribute to the day-to-day operations of the lab, including instrument maintenance, quality control, method setup, and troubleshooting.
- Data Management: Meticulously maintain and manage data records, including regular data entry and archiving, while upholding strict confidentiality.
What We're Looking For:
Non-Negotiable Qualifications:
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Biotechnology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or a closely related field.
- A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in a lab scientist or similar role.
- Advanced working knowledge of laboratory equipment, processes, and Microsoft Office products.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A Master's or Ph.D. in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated ability to perform complex sample preparation and procedures.
