**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Dietary Director to lead our dietary department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality nutritional services to our residents, while meeting all regulatory guidelines. This role is crucial in promoting the health and well-being of our residents through the management of dietary operations, menu planning, and maintaining food safety standards.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Oversee the day-to-day dietary operations, including food preparation, menu planning, and nutritional assessments.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to dietary services in an assisted living facility.
- Develop and implement resident-centered menus that cater to dietary needs and preferences while maintaining nutritional balance.
- Manage and train dietary staff to ensure high standards of food safety, hygiene, and service.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals to address specific dietary requirements and restrictions for residents.
- Implement and monitor budgetary controls to manage costs effectively.
- Conduct regular quality assurance audits to continuously enhance dietary services.
- Serve as a liaison between residents, families, and healthcare staff regarding dietary concerns and initiatives.

**Qualifications:**

- ServSafe Manager preferred, but we can provide training once hired.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in dietary management, preferably in a healthcare or assisted living setting.
- Strong knowledge of dietary regulations and standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in computer applications related to dietary management and documentation.
