Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a full-time Occupational Therapist to support elementary school students in North Port, FL. This position offers a contract duration corresponding with the school year and involves a 37.5-hour work week across two elementary school sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students in a school setting
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support student needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all school and legal requirements
- Participate in meetings and professional development as required
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist licensure
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school environment
- Ability to manage caseloads effectively and work within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
