Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school in Lake Placid, FL is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech therapy services for the current school year (CSY) on a contract basis. This role focuses on supporting students communication development to enhance their academic and social success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to monitor student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and regulations
- Participate in meetings and provide consultation related to speech and language services
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working in a school setting
- Knowledge of K-12 speech-language pathology practices and assessments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of an educational team
