An opportunity is available for a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in school settings, located in Hialeah, FL. This contract position supports students from kindergarten through 6th grade within a high school environment and offers a comprehensive caseload designed to create meaningful impact in the educational development of young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students in grades K-6.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support student progress.
- Monitor and document student progress regularly to ensure effective therapy outcomes.
- Participate in professional development and ongoing training to stay current with best practices.
Qualifications:
- Current Florida state license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Proven experience in school-based speech therapy preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and educators.
- Ability to manage a full caseload while maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal guidelines.
