Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Property Manager to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and financial performance of assigned properties. The Property Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, vendors, and property owners, ensuring properties are well-maintained, compliant, and profitable.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of residential and/or commercial properties
- Serve as the main point of contact for tenants, addressing inquiries, complaints, and service requests
- Coordinate property maintenance, repairs, and inspections with vendors and contractors
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance
- Oversee tenant leasing processes, including showings, applications, move-ins, and move-outs
- Enforce lease terms and property rules; manage notices and, when necessary, eviction processes
- Prepare and manage property budgets; track expenses and ensure cost control
- Collect rent, monitor delinquencies, and follow up on late payments
- Maintain accurate property records, reports, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal property regulations
- Communicate regularly with property owners and provide performance reports
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Property Manager or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of property management laws and best practices
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to handle multiple properties and priorities simultaneously
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, or related field preferred)
Preferred Skills
- Real estate license or property management certification (if required by local regulations)
- Experience managing budgets and financial reporting
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
- Bilingual skills a plus
