Petro Compliance Services is a specialized environmental compliance company supporting retail and non-retail petroleum facilities to ensure petroleum standards set by the Florida Department of Environmental Protections are being met. Our services include but are not limited to compliance inspections and testing, corrective support, electronic system installations and updates, and ongoing service and maintenance.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a service technician based in West Palm Beach, FL, but requires travel throughout the state. The technician will be responsible for the following..
- Testing above and underground storage tanks
- Installing and maintaining dispensers, site controllers, submersible fuel pumps, credit card readers, cash register consoles, tank and line monitoring equipment, etc.
- The installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of petroleum-related electronic systems such as Verifone and Wayne
- Diagnosing technical issues, performing system upgrades, and providing preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely
- Work closely with the team to ensure compliance with industry and OSHA standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Electronics Technology and related principles such as Verifone and Wayne systems
- Skills in troubleshooting electronic components
- Experience in Maintenance & Repair of electronic systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Prior experience working with petroleum or similar industries is advantageous
- Ability to change direction and handle a variety of tasks and operations
- High school diploma or equivalent
