Job Title: CNC Carpenter
Location: Miami, Florida
Pay: $18 - $20 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Carpenter to join our Miami-based team. In this role, you will produce high-quality custom cabinets, furniture components, and detailed woodwork using CNC machinery alongside traditional woodworking techniques. Your expertise in cabinet construction, precise cutting, assembly, finishing, and veneer application will be essential to ensure products meet design specifications, quality standards, and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:

CNC Operation & Programming:
-
Operate and set up CNC routers and machines for cutting, shaping, and drilling wood panels, MDF, and veneers.

Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and CNC programs.

Adjust machine settings for accuracy, precision, and production efficiency.

Troubleshoot and maintain CNC, Edge Bander, Rover B, Skipper machines to minimize downtime.

Cabinet & Veneer Work:

Fabricate, assemble, and finish custom cabinets and millwork as per design specifications.

Apply veneers (natural, engineered, laminate) with precision for seamless finishes.

Perform accurate edge-banding, laminating, and surface preparation.

Handle specialty woodworking projects involving curved, angled, or detailed designs.

Quality Control & Safety:

Inspect finished parts for quality, accuracy, and fit.

Maintain production schedules without sacrificing craftsmanship.

Follow factory safety protocols and handle woodworking tools/materials safely.

Minimize material waste through careful cutting and handling.

Collaboration:

Work closely with designers, programmers, and production managers to meet project goals.

Provide feedback on design adjustments for manufacturability and efficiency.

Assist in training junior carpenters and apprentices on CNC operations and veneering.

Qualifications & Skills:

High school diploma or technical certification in woodworking, carpentry, or CNC operation preferred.

Minimum 3 years experience in cabinetmaking, CNC machine operation, and veneer application.

Proficient in reading technical drawings, CAD/CAM files, and CNC programming (Cabinet Vision, AutoCAD, or similar).

Strong knowledge of woodworking tools, joinery, and finishing methods.

Exceptional attention to detail, craftsmanship, and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to lift heavy panels and thrive in a fast-paced production environment.

Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
