Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time School Psychologist opportunity is available in Wauchula, FL, serving the Highlands County area for the 2025 school year. This contract position starts ASAP and runs through May 2025, providing essential psychological services to support student success in an educational setting.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to identify student needs
- Develop and implement intervention strategies in collaboration with teachers, parents, and administrators
- Support the educational and emotional development of students
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide consultation services
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure
- Experience working in K-12 educational environments
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to develop individualized support plans
