Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or Education, active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, and a minimum 1+ years BCBA experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is sought for a full-time contract position supported within an elementary school setting in Venice, FL. This role will run from August 1, 2025, through June 1, 2026, working Monday through Friday for 40 hours per week. The caseload includes students from pre-kindergarten through 5th grade, ages 3 to 11.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing crisis support to students as needed
- Collecting and analyzing behavioral data to inform interventions
- Leading teams in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
- Developing and implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Training teachers and paraprofessionals on plan implementation and data collection
Qualifications required:
- Current BCBA or BCaBA certification
- Experience working with children aged 3-11 in educational settings
- Strong skills in behavior assessment, data analysis, and intervention planning
- Ability to lead collaborative teams and provide professional training
