With a fleet of 85+ vessels, including our newly retrofitted 62’ catamaran, we deliver seamless high-end outings that redefine luxury yachting.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking an established Captain/Chef team to provide our Members with overnight cruises and singular, pop up dinners. During our summer months you will charter in the waters of the Northeast as well as host individual, distinctive dinning experiences for our Members. The winter months will be spent in the Caribbean waters for charters to include Bahamans, St. Barths and Anguilla. Cruises range from 3-7 days, allowing you to immerse yourself in the beauty of the water while delivering an unforgettable experience. This role is about curating a memorable experience, from safe navigation to high-end level hospitality, ensuring the members experience is first in class.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety of all members throughout the charter, maintaining the highest standards of seamanship
  • Responsible for the safe piloting, navigation, anchoring and operation of the yacht at all times
  • Curate a premium experience for guests, hosting activities, coordinating excursions, and providing expert local knowledge
  • Maintain the cleanliness and servicing of the yacht at regular intervals organized by the program manager service team
  • Assist with daily housekeeping tasks related to guest accommodations to enhance the onboard experience
  • Manage planning and provisions of the yacht for charter
  • Design and execute custom menus tailored to member preferences
  • Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organization in the galley and assist with additional housekeeping responsibilities on the vessel, including guest accommodations
  • Manage budget and accounting records, coordinating with the Program Manager to ensure trips are within budget
  • Assist with all elements of deck work as required
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • USCG Master Merchant Mariner Credential - 100 Ton Master (minimum requirement) with a Sailing Endorsement
  • Local knowledge of the USVI/BVI
  • Prior experience on similar sized term charter yachts
  • Ability to communicate with customers at all levels
  • A self-starting attitude with high standards for service, hospitality and safety
  • Experience yacht or private chef with a background in luxury hospitality, or similar industry
  • Experience working with preference sheets and dietary requirements
  • Previous service experience required
  • Ability to communicate with customers at all levels
