A well-established general contractor is seeking an experienced Project Executive to lead municipal, government, and public-sector construction projects in the Fort Myers area. This role offers the opportunity to oversee complex work while mentoring teams and partnering closely with public stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide executive-level leadership on municipal, government, and public works projects

•Oversee multiple projects, project teams, and superintendents

•Manage budgets, schedules, risk, and compliance requirements

•Serve as a primary liaison with local governments, public agencies, and design teams

•Support preconstruction, value engineering, and strategic planning

•Champion jobsite safety, quality, and professional standards

•Mentor and develop PMs, APMs, and field leadership

Ideal Background

•15+ years in construction management with public / municipal project experience

•Proven success on large, complex projects (multi-phase or campus-style preferred)

•Strong understanding of government processes, documentation, and compliance

•Experience leading large teams and operating with high autonomy

•Well-spoken, professional, and respected leader with a training mindset

•Strong commitment to safety and accountability
