Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Resident Care Supervisor – Full Time
Grand Villa of Ocala is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Resident Care Supervisor to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated healthcare professional to lead and support our resident care team in a warm, community-focused environment. The ideal candidate will have previous assisted living experience and a passion for providing exceptional care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily nursing care for residents, ensuring high standards of quality and safety
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Monitor residents’ health status and respond promptly to changes or concerns
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff and caregivers
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as facility policies
- Document resident care activities accurately and thoroughly
- Participate in staff training and quality improvement initiatives
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to promote a positive care environment
Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid and current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Previous experience in assisted living or long-term care preferred
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including occasional weekends and holidays
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented approach to resident care
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
