Behavioral Health Technician (Third Shift Overnight)

Job DescriptionSalary:

CBH is looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our BHT department during the Third Shift (overnight) at our Residential Treatment Center in Hollywood.

As a Behavioral Health Technician at CBH, you will:

• Provide care and close supervision of facility patients during overnight hours and document behavior accurately
• Develop positive relationships with patients and co-workers
• Follow facility policies and procedures, implement treatment plans, and provide crisis intervention as necessary
• Actively participate as part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, and interaction
• Act as a role model by using appropriate counseling skillsde-escalating aggression, practicing active listening, using a calm tone and volume, maintaining appropriate boundaries, and promoting a positive peer culture
• Serve as the primary liaison between the clinical team and the patients of CBH during the night shift
• Work closely with the department head to meet department goals

Requirements

• Clear and valid Drivers License
• Ability to pass a Level II background screen
• Experience with the mental health population and detox environment required
• Availability to work overnight third shift (12:00 AM 8:00 AM)
• Weekend availability is mandatory
