We take pride in offering a collaborative, supportive, and professional work environment.We are currently seeking a Traveling Radiologic Technologist (RT or BXMO) to join our dynamic team and support multiple office locations.Position OverviewThe Traveling RT/BXMO will perform diagnostic imaging procedures at various practice sites within our network. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys variety, independence, and working within a multi-specialty clinical environment. The position involves travel between locations.Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality radiographic imaging procedures as ordered by providers.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort while maintaining compliance with radiation safety standards.
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and calibrated; report service needs promptly.
- Prepare patients for exams and explain procedures to ensure comfort and understanding.
- Accurately document and transmit imaging results to interpreting physicians.
- Receive reports in a timely manner and upload them to the patients' chart for provider interpretation.
- Maintain compliance with all company, state, and federal safety and privacy regulations (HIPAA).
- Collaborate with physicians, medical assistants, and other clinical staff to support smooth office operations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure images are properly stored and transmitted.
- Assist with basic clinical support duties when needed (depending on location and volume).
- Travel between assigned locations as scheduled; maintain punctuality and professionalism at all sites.
Qualifications
- Active Florida Radiologic Technologist (RT) or Basic X-Ray Machine Operator (BXMO) license required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical or multi-specialty setting preferred.
- Valid Florida driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexible and adaptable comfortable working in multiple environments.
- Knowledge of digital imaging systems and EMR platforms a plus.
