Key Responsibilities
As a Special Education Teacher in this role, you will be expected to:

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs

• Provide specialized instruction in inclusive or resource settings

• Coordinate with general education staff, related service providers, and families

• Maintain detailed records and comply with district reporting requirements

• Participate actively in eligibility and team meetings

Certification Requirements in Florida
Candidates must hold:

• A valid Florida Department of Education certificate in Exceptional Student Education (ESE)

• A Bachelors degree or higher

• Authorization to work in the U.S.

• Fingerprinting and background clearance per Florida school district standards
