About the Firm
We are a growing Tampa-based collections law firm representing creditors in commercial and consumer collection matters. Our practice emphasizes efficiency, professionalism, and results-driven advocacy while maintaining compliance with all state and federal regulations.
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with approximately two years of experience to handle a portfolio of collection and creditor-rights matters. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable appearing in court, and capable of managing cases from inception through resolution.
Key Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of consumer and/or commercial collection matters

Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements

Appear in county and circuit court for hearings, trials, and mediations
-
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and pro se defendants
-
Ensure compliance with FDCPA, FCCPA, and related regulations
-
Evaluate cases for litigation strategy and settlement opportunities
Qualifications
-
Active member in good standing with The Florida Bar

Approximately 2 years of litigation or collections experience (creditor-side preferred)

Strong writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
-
Ability to manage deadlines and a high-volume caseload

Professional demeanor and strong client-service mindset
Preferred (but not required)

Experience in collections, creditor rights, foreclosure, or bankruptcy-related matters

Courtroom experience in Hillsborough County or surrounding jurisdictions
