Key Responsibilities of the CVOR Surgical Technologist:
Prepare operating rooms, sterile instruments, and equipment for cardiovascular procedures.
Assist surgeons during CVOR procedures by passing instruments and ensuring a sterile field.
Anticipate the needs of the surgical team to support patient safety and procedure efficiency.
Maintain and account for all surgical instruments and supplies.
Collaborate with perioperative and surgical staff to ensure optimal outcomes.
Requirements:
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required.
Minimum of 2 years of CVOR Surgical Tech experience.
Strong knowledge of cardiovascular procedures and sterile technique.
Excellent teamwork, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
