Location: Lake Mary, FL 32746
Duration: 6 Months (Extension Possible)
Schedule: Monday through Friday | 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Pay Rate: $48.73/hr on W2 (No Benefits)

What You’ll Do:
As an Electrical Engineer, you’ll design and develop the electrical power distribution systems that keep major Gas Turbine projects running efficiently. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver innovative, high-performance solutions.
Your Day-to-Day:
• Design electrical power distribution networks for auxiliary equipment in Gas Turbine projects.
• Focus primarily on low-voltage systems (600V and below), including MCCs, Panelboards, Transformers, DC Systems, and Batteries.
• Perform electrical calculations, equipment and cable sizing, illumination level studies, and maintain bills of materials.
• Support equipment specifications for MCCs, DC systems, and related components.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless system integration.
• Address technical inquiries from customers, vendors, and field personnel.
• Utilize SmartPlant Electrical (SPEL) and SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI) to produce deliverables.
What We’re Looking For:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience designing low-voltage electrical distribution systems.
• Proficiency in SmartPlant Electrical (SPEL) and/or SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
