Job Description:
Customer Driven Staffing is seeking a Welding & Cutting Technician for a night shift position in Pompano Beach. This temp-to-perm role involves operating thermal cutting equipment such as oxy-fuel torches and plasma cutters, reading blueprints and cut lists, and shaping steel and metal components with precision. Initial training may occur on day shift before transitioning to nights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate welding and cutting equipment safely and efficiently

• Read and follow blueprints, cut lists, and work instructions

• Measure, mark, and cut materials accurately

• Maintain equipment and follow safety protocols (OSHA compliance)

• Handle steel plates and other materials safely

Requirements:

• Experience in welding, burning, or thermal cutting

• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints

• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work standing for long periods

• Reliable and safety-minded

• Willingness to work night shift

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS or NCCER certification

• Forklift or overhead crane experience
