Heartline Staffing, Strategic Talent Partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) for a permanent opportunity in Sanford, Florida.
This role supports a collaborative Cardiovascular Operating Room environment with a strong focus on patient safety, teamwork, and workflow efficiency. The CVOR RN works closely with surgical teams and leadership to deliver high-quality perioperative care and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide perioperative nursing care within the Cardiovascular Operating Room setting.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical staff to support safe and efficient procedures.
• Participate in rounding with unit leadership, including charge nurses, to share feedback and suggestions for workflow improvement.
• Maintain compliance with surgical standards, patient safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Support on-call coverage during select non-business hours as required.
• Contribute to a culture of mutual respect, collaboration, and professional excellence.
Compensation
Hourly Pay Range (Based on Experience)
• $34.85/hour (minimum)
• $49.06/hour (maximum)
Requirements:
• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license.
• Florida RN license or valid multistate compact license required (compact license holders must obtain Florida licensure within 60 days of relocation).
• Registered Nurse Diploma or Associate Degree required.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care CVOR RN experience REQUIRED.
• Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of employment start date.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification required within 6 months of employment start date.
• Strong perioperative, cardiovascular, and critical thinking skills.
